Sharsheret, Hebrew for "chain," is a national nonprofit organization that supports young women and families facing BRCA gene mutations, breast and ovarian cancer, at every stage – before, during and after diagnosis. Their genetic counselor is available through telephone appointments to discuss any aspect of genetic screening, including need, implications, and understanding results.
